Questions for answering, before campaign start:

Your character is hunting a bounty on a dangerous criminal, at the behest of Jarl Redjak Ossun of Beregos. The Jarl has cajoled, hired, or otherwise bound you into his service in this very important task, alongside five of his most elite hunters. You are pressing into the lands of Valkur, a realm that Beregos openly wars, quarrels and schemes against...

1) How do you find yourself in the employ of Jarl Redjak, the most powerful man in the south of Ost?

2) What is your motivation to hunt this criminal? Purely monetary, to gain favor, some other hidden purpose?

3) Where have you come from, before this task?

4) What are your plans, after it is complete?

5) Who would be worried about you, if they knew you were on this quest?

6) Who would celebrate, to know you had failed and died?

My character is Coyote.

1) Coyote and the Jarl are actually pals. Frequenting the tavern, Coyote met the Jarl and beat him in three consecutive games of cards in a row. The Jarl didn't want to pay up then and there, but promised a large reward to Coyote as well as the winnings if he complete the task.

2) At first, money. But after learning just who the criminal is, potentially speaking with the other elite hunters about it and solving the problem a different way... With pay still included, of course. $$$

3) Thaycia at first, then wandered around on foot for the most part. It's been about three years since, and Coyote's gotten some ground. Just previously, probably the next city over.

4) Coyote doesn't plan that far ahead and neither do I. Probably skip town and continue to gamble and do merc jobs.

5) Bruno and Catalina. Bruno is a broad, strong man that originally taught Coyote how to handle guns. Catalina is a girl Coyote used to be sweet on. Both are peasants in Thaycia, and Coyote writes to them frequently under the sobriquet "Coyote". Both would be devastated at Coyote's death. The Thaycian king as well would probably be upset, considering how long it took to obtain and heir.

6) No one immediately comes to mind- Coyote has enemies but it's more of a "They caught him cheating during cards" enemies. None so vile enough to celebrate the death of a card shark.

1) After having gained passage on a trade ship near Tonso. Syrillian learned that this vessel was headed for Beregos. While traveling Syrillian had made quite well with the captain. He learned that Shevas had been commanding the mad rose since she was 16. When they had made it to port in only three days time Syrillian was impressed. Shevas told him that if he was looking for work the Jarl had a bounty out and was looking for men.

2) Although Syrillian indeed needed the money he had another reason for entering back into this line of work so quickly. Simply he had missed it, having settled down he realized how boring life had become. However the circumstances that brought him back into mercernary work was not ideal. he hoped joining the hunt would remind of the finer points of being a sell sword.

3) has never called one place home as he lived on the road moving from place to place most of his life. Recently he was living in a kingdom in Tonso.

4) Syrillian likes to be a few steps ahead. Depending on how the hunt ended Syrillian has planned to either return to the docks in search of work. Alternatively if everything turns out well he would seek more work from Jarl Redjak.

5) Tayiel and Syrillians older brother Vin. Vin wasn't sure how to feel when his younger brother had left. Yet wherever he went he would ask the the denizens of him. Sometimes he'd hear tells of a young man who helped this person or that person or did this or that. Tayiel had been heartbroken when she read the note Syrillian had left. She hated and yet also loved him. After what he did she spent her time searching for him and the answers to the questions she had.

6) Throughout his time working for separate vessels and lords, merchants and whoever else could spar change for his services. Syrillian had never made any real enemies instead he mostly kept to himself unless he liked the customer.

1) How do you find yourself in the employ of Jarl Redjak, the most powerful man in the south of Ost?

Amon sees himself as an avenging spirit of the lower class. Despite his own noble birth, he has made it his personal mission to eliminate those people in positions of power and influence that use, abuse, and prey on the innocent knowing that they are too powerful to brook any reprisal. This mission has him travelling almost constantly, going wherever there are nobles, socialites, politicians, or law enforcement that see themselves as above the law. The Jarl is one such man, and Amon intends to earn his favor so that he cen get close enough to eliminate him if the opportunity arises.

2) What is your motivation to hunt this criminal? Purely monetary, to gain favor, some other hidden purpose?

The target is a cruel man that hurts innocent people, which would be reason enough for Amon, but potentially getting close to the Jarl is part of a long game for Amon to kill such naked abuser of his people.

3) Where have you come from, before this task?

Morheinn. Amon was hired to assassinate a corrupt guard captain by the name of Dornik. After completing the mission, Amon was betrayed by the man who hired him, the newly appointed Guard Captain Halen Blackscale. Blackscale locked Amon in prison with the intent to execute him to cover up his part in the murder, but Amon escaped. Amon is currently laying low, intending to take his revenge on Blackscale when the opportunity arises.

4) What are your plans, after it is complete?

Get close to the Jarl, and kill him if the opportunity arises. If not, then he will continue trying to earn the Jarl's favor until such time as it does.

5) Who would be worried about you, if they knew you were on this quest?

His coddling and protective parents, who worrisome swaddling he is trying to get away from.

6) Who would celebrate, to know you had failed and died?

Halen Blackscale, the man who hired and betrayed Amon. If Amon were to die, his part in the conspiracy to assume higher power would be forgotten.

Xander Pzul Muster Q&A

1) How do you find yourself in the employ of Jarl Redjak, the most powerful man in the south of Ost?

A) Xander has been dispatched by his patron Pollus Orkney, Baron of Betrolgar to assist the Jarl with the apprehension of a dangerous criminal

2) What is your motivation to hunt this criminal? Purely monetary, to gain favor, some other hidden purpose?

A) Xander is motivated by his loyalty to his organization, his reputation and the coin that comes with.  Xander is an efficient killer and enjoys the simplicity of what he does.

3) Where have you come from, before this task?

A)Xander resides in Betrolgar, in the city of Viutrev. He uses the Baron's compound as a residence and base of operation.

4) What are your plans, after it is complete?

A) Xander would seek further instruction from the Jarl or the Baron.

5) Who would be worried about you, if they knew you were on this quest?

A) No one.

6) Who would celebrate, to know you had failed and died?

A) It would also please The Copper Ravens, an alliance of assassins, thieves and black magic wielders.  The Ravens are a rival faction to Xander's own guild "The Order of The Open Vein"

1) How do you find yourself in the employ of Jarl Redjak, the most powerful man in the south of Ost?

Even a jarl needs a little savagery to get a job done. The Red Son called upon Rholf while he sat in jail. Apparently, the barbarian had smashed more than a few vagabonds and other ne'er do wells. It amused the jarl while he was drunk. Rholf made an impression.

2) What is your motivation to hunt this criminal? Purely monetary, to gain favor, some other hidden purpose?

Rholf's motivation is the thrill of the hunt. Much like his times in the highlands, the hunt kept his skills sharp. It was an opportunity to build upon his first impression with the jarl. A man like the jarl must know some smart people that could answer the riddle of the thunder-maker in his possession.

3) Where have you come from, before this task?

Rholf made the trek down the highlands and made his way west, following the elk herd. Their migration took them to Morheinn. From there Rholf wove his way southward through the mountains. He followed the river south until he came to Valkur. From there he was hired for protection for a trader's caravan headed into Beregos.

4) What are your plans, after it is complete?

Find a "smart one" that can explain the rusted item in his possession.

5) Who would be worried about you, if they knew you were on this quest?

None from the tribe would be worried about Rholf. Artaois wills it, he will be safe, otherwise his weapon will make sure that he is.

6) Who would celebrate, to know you had failed and died?

The tribal council that is comfortable in the "good old ways."

May know information about the crime my father was accused of and executed for, the murder of Freya's mother.

Return Freya home.

5) Who would be worried about you, if they knew you were on this quest?

My mother (she knows).

Freya's father.

May have information about who killed my mother.

3) Where have you come from, before this task?

4) What are your plans, after it is complete?

Return home to my father's side having proven myself worthy of his trust in hopes that he will let me choose a husband for love rather than arrangement.

5) Who would be worried about you, if they knew you were on this quest?

Tiberius (but he's with me). My Father (he knows and he's irate. He may have sent men to retrieve me as this was meant to be a suicide mission for Tiberius alone, who was desperate to prove his father's innocence and gain favor with my father).

6) Who would celebrate, to know you had failed and died?

My younger sister, Forseti, who would become the assumed heir. There are many jealous women Aulbard, where there is a line of men all waiting for my father to decide which one will be mine.
