12 Realms of Ost Ideas

Feel free to post any random ideas you have here about the 12 Realms of Ost.

One idea I had was for a portside kingdom.

Ruled by an Arabelle Voss, only other family is her younger sister Lillia and uncle Frederick. Her uncle Frederick believes that a woman shouldn't be in a place of power. Arabelle is her younger sisters care taker and is raising her to be a queen should she die early. Arabelles greatest friend is her right hand strombarl, a dwarf who is a family friend and advises her on political manners. He also is the lead of her personal guard.

That's what has popped into my head so far. Feel free to add or revise anything you think might work better.

Since Airships are a thing in this campaign setting, I think an Airship port in the mountains would be something neat to have. I imagine a large wooden dock that acts as a platform to hold one to four Airships at a time. And below the platform is a village of some sort that has a warehouse and the traditional shops a player would find in the game.

Further, maybe access to the platform village would be via tunnels within the mountain (considered dangerous) or an over land route (only accessible depending on the season). Perhaps the platform village would be a station for a minor Baron or Mayor on behalf of the larger government?
